About Me

I am a postdoctoral researcher at UIUC MONET Group supervised by Prof. Klara. Prior to that, I was also a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hong Kong supervised by Prof. Chuan Wu, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology supervised by Prof. Bo Li. I also collabrate closely with Prof. Jiangchuan Liu in SFU. I obtained my Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 2022, advised by Prof. Lifeng Sun. I received my B.E. from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University in 2017.

Research Interests

My research focuses on the optimization of multimedia systems from a networking perspective, particularly in the context of video transmission over real-world networks. I work on improving the efficiency and robustness of video streaming under challenging conditions such as packet loss, limited bandwidth, and network variability. By designing adaptive algorithms and system-level optimizations, my work aims to ensure reliable video transmission in practical networking environments.
